FAQ

NEXUS//OPS customer questions.

Clear answers about licensing, delivery, setup, production use, safety boundaries, updates, and support.

Buying and licensing

Which NEXUS//OPS license should I buy?

Choose Studio for solo creators, designers, small studios, indie productions, portfolio work, social content, internal pitches, and non-broadcast screen graphics. Choose Production when NEXUS//OPS will appear in one named commercial project, client shoot, film, ad, pilot, or music video. Choose Broadcast for television, streaming, network, agency, team, multi-seat, recurring show, or larger commercial production use.

Can I use the Studio License for paid work?

Yes, for small paid or self-produced projects that are not network TV, streaming series, large agency campaigns, multi-seat deployments, resale, redistribution, or template repackaging.

Is the Production License unlimited?

No. The Production License covers one named commercial project or production. Additional paid projects require another Production License or a Broadcast License.

What is the Broadcast License for?

Broadcast is for larger professional use such as television shows, streaming series, network productions, agency campaigns, multi-seat teams, enterprise productions, recurring shows, and custom prop-screen packages. It is quoted based on scope, seats, distribution, and support needs.

Delivery and setup

How is NEXUS//OPS delivered after purchase?

Paid Studio, Production, and Broadcast license holders receive access to the signed and notarized macOS DMG through hosted checkout delivery or a private delivery link after purchase confirmation.

What system do I need?

NEXUS//OPS requires macOS 26 or newer on an Apple Silicon Mac. Intel Macs are not supported.

Does the app require an account or cloud connection?

No account is required for normal local playback. NEXUS//OPS is designed as a local production screen-graphics app.

What do I do if macOS blocks the app on first launch?

Use the signed and notarized DMG from the official delivery link. If macOS still asks for confirmation, open System Settings, review the security notice, and allow the app from the trusted publisher. Contact support if the app does not open.

Production use

What is NEXUS//OPS actually for?

NEXUS//OPS is for fictional screen graphics, production playback, prop interfaces, live operator performance, client review, and cinematic cyber operations visuals.

Can it be used during live takes?

Yes. The app is built for live operator performance, practical monitor playback, rehearsals, production design playback, and controlled screen presentation.

Can I type a custom target or company name?

Paid licenses include custom target entry so the visible target context can match the production, client, scene, or fictional organization.

Can I use screenshots or footage from the app in my edit?

Yes, within the usage rights of your license. Studio is for smaller non-broadcast work, Production is for one named commercial project, and Broadcast is for wider professional use.

Safety and limits

Does NEXUS//OPS perform real hacking, scanning, or network access?

No. It is not cybersecurity software. It does not perform real network access, scanning, hacking, credential capture, file scanning, banking activity, surveillance, or data collection.

Can I present it as real cybersecurity software?

No. NEXUS//OPS must be presented as fictional visual software for screen graphics, production design, stage visuals, and playback. It cannot be advertised or represented as real cyber operations software.

Can I share the app or license key with my team?

No, unless your license specifically includes multi-seat use. Studio and Production are limited to their stated workstation/project terms. Team use should be quoted under Broadcast.

Can I resell or repackage the interface as a template?

No. Licenses do not allow resale, redistribution, public upload, license-key sharing, template repackaging, or claiming ownership of the app/interface system.

Updates and support

How long do updates last?

Studio and Production licenses include 12 months of app updates. Broadcast update scope is quoted based on project scope, seats, distribution, and support requirements.

What support is included?

Support covers purchase delivery, license selection, app setup, launch questions, basic production-use guidance, and delivery issues. Broadcast support may include priority support and onboarding when quoted.

What should I include when contacting support?
